A Trojan virus is faulty computer program that can infect remote computers by changing the desktop or deleting important files. Generally called a Trojan Horse, it appears as a legitimate file or software from a trusted source, therefore tricking users into opening it or downloading it. A Trojan refers to a program that appears as something you may think is safe, but hidden inside is usually something harmful, probably a worm or a virus.
Take action and protect your irreplaceable computer files, credit card number, bank account number, social security number, address, drivers license number, pictures and important work documents by learning how to remove Trojan viruses ..
The lure of viruses is that you may download a game or a picture, thinking it's harmless, but once you execute this file (run it), the worm or virus gets to work. Sometimes they will only do things to annoy you, but usually a worm or virus will cause damage to your system.
If you are currently infected I strongly advise you to learn how to remove a trojan virus yourself. If you don't you will run the risk of being hacked and have all your personal information taken.
Learning how to remove trojan viruses can be a very technical task. I would not suggest you follow any instructions that teach you how to remove trojan virus unless you are very competent with computers. If you aren't comfortable with computers I suggest you use a program, it will remove them so you don't have to know what to do.
What could happen if your precious information fell into the wrong hands? You could suddenly get a credit card statement that has outrageous charges. It's not the money thing that will hurt, its the time you will have to take to get all those charges resolved. Just because one trojan virus stole your information. Somebody could have a hay day with your social security number.
How To Remove Trojan Virus
Disclaimer: Do not attempt to remove them by yourself unless you know for sure what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to learn how to remove trojan virus, you will need some computer savvy.
Step 1:The first thing you must do is stop the process(program files) from running. This can be accomplished by getting into your task manager and stoping the process you suspect are the trojan virus.
Step 2: Un-register the trojan virus files. In the Run command box, type "cmd", and then click on "OK". Type "regsvr32 /u filename.dll" where "filename" is the name of the file that you like to Unregister.
Step 3:Remove and Modify Registry Entries if they exist. Click Start > Run.
Type regedit. Then click OK.
Step 4: Search your computer all files and hidden files and delete these Related Files if they exist.
You will need specific file names and specific registry entries in order to completely remove a trojan virus. If you cant find these file names and registry entrys you can always use a program that will delete the trojan virus for you.
Don't let these trojan viruses steal your important information, make sure you clean them up now.

7 Tips For Computer Security and Virus Protection By JR Lang
Computer security is a vital issue for anyone who surfs the net on his or her PC. Any computer that is connected to the Internet is exposed to thousands of malicious, viruses, spyware, hackers, and other nasty Malware that can ruin a system, cost lots of money for repairs and lose important data, files and folders.
Here are some hands-on steps that you can take to protect your computer, data and private information from the hackers, Malware, viruses, spyware and thieves and ensure the best in computer security.
1. Good Virus Software - Make sure to always install and run the best virus software on your computer. Always have the best anti virus software installed and running on your system.
2. Real Time Virus Protection - Make sure that real time protection is part of the virus software you use to avoid being infected by drive-by infections that can happen just by visiting a website.
3. The Best Security via a Web Browser - Internet Explorer web browser is full of security risks; Firefox is a much better choice.
If you are using Firefox make sure that you properly set up the security options:
1. Go to Tools and select Options
2. Select the Security Tab
3. Select the following options in the Security Window:
Warn me when sites try to install add ons
Tell me if the site I am visiting is a suspected attack site
Tell me if the site I am visiting is a suspected forgery
4. Firewall Protection - Firewalls block hackers and unauthorized access from other networks. Windows comes with a default firewall, or you can choose from various free ones for extra protection that can also be customized.
5. Computer Administrator Protection - Windows operating system allows you to create different users, such as guests versus using the computer in Administrator mode. This helps to avoid being logged in as administrator, which makes vital areas of your computer more protected. You can create a guest user and surf the net with that profile, which will make your system more secure.
6. Dangers of Unknown Email Attachments - Many get virus infections that are sent as attachments via email. Never open files that come from sources that you don't know, or don't trust. While Yahoo and other free email platforms do have virus scan protection it is not always accurate and can miss a virus attached to email disguised as something legitimate.
7. Be Cautious about Shareware - Shareware is a term that refers to free software or program that can be downloaded from a variety of websites. These can be risky because they can carry viruses and spyware. Be careful with these downloads and be sure the website that offers them is safe.

Driver Update Program - The Best Way to Download Drivers Easily and Quickly By Jeff Farley
A driver is a set of instructions that every device needs to be able to run properly in your computer. No matter how small the device is, it will need help to work with the rest of your computer devices. First of all, you need to see your computer as a mishmash of different devices working together. Your CPU will use the different device drivers to make them all work together cohesively.
The trick here in making sure that your devices, and anything new you might install, will continue to work properly is to keep updating your drivers. Drivers are updated by the manufacturers to make the device run more efficiently, and perhaps to plug some holes that they found made the device vulnerable, so it's a good thing to keep drivers updated.
Instead of trying to figure out how to do all these updating on your own, why not get an efficient driver update program to do it for you. Not only will it keep you in top of new changes and improvements, it will also take care of device problems, optimize gaming performance, help prevent file loss, help you maximize your storage space, work in the background while allowing you to continue doing whatever you want on your side, and generally just maximize your computer's performance.
There is no substitute for a more efficient way to updating your drivers other than an automated driver update software program. It's convenient, practical, reasonably priced, and most of all, it works.
This is one expense that you will never regret because you can keep using it as often as you want, and it will make your computer last longer as well.

How Viruses Get Into Your Computer By Chirag Gadara
There are three ways through which viruses can get into your computers.
A very common way of entrance for viruses is CD/DVD or U.S.B. Drives. Have you noticed that when you insert original software disks or Windows installation disks into your CD drive, installation of that software starts automatically? There is one file inside your Disk or U.S.B. Drive called "Auto run.inf", this file tells the system to start some application or to execute some commands automatically when the disk is inserted.
When you burn CD/DVD Disk or insert U.S.B. Drive in an infected computer, viruses (running in background process and observing your computer) put a copy of itself and auto-run.inf file into that disk or drive. If you insert such infected drives/disks into a fresh healthy system, that system will also become infected. In this way viruses travels from infected computers to healthy computers through CD/DVD or U.S.B. Drives.
Viruses can also spread through LAN (Local Area Network). If an infected system is attached to a healthy network or one of the computers of a healthy network gets infected, viruses will spread through out the network.
If you download software from not trusted websites, remember that "Nothing is Free" and "If you are getting it free, you might be sacrificing your privacy or your system behind the scene".
Such pirated software comes with cracks like crack.exec, patch.exec, key gen.exec etc. And with my personal experience I found that most of those crack contains virus infection in it, in some case software itself comes with virus infections from such a site.
So keep aware and be safe on-line. Enjoy a virus free computer world.

5 Tips to Solving Your Computer Driver Problems By Giselle Sanchez
Drivers are a very important part of your computer. These little pieces of software make link our hardware to our software, applications, or operating system. Without them, Windows will not work correctly because it cannot communicate to your hardware. Your hardware therefore will not function at all, or it will work well below average performance.
So, if we are experiencing driver problems, what can we do to solve them? Here are some suggestions.
Visit the Driver Manufacturer website - Most driver problems can be solved by going directly to the manufacturer's website and downloading then installing the latest driver for that device. This will update the drivers and get your hardware functioning properly again.
Restart Your Computer - After the installation was completed, make sure that you restart your computer. If problems appear after an update, you should roll back the hardware driver - see tip 5.
Reinstall a Device Driver - If you are facing hardware issues, one of the first steps you should take is to reinstall the hardware driver. In many cases this will solve your problem. When you do this, Windows automatically detects and installs the hardware, like new. To do this, go to "Device Manager" on your Windows machine and select "Confirm Device Removal".
Try an Automated Driver tool - Automated driver updaters such as Driver Detective or Driver Robot, offer a free evaluation version which allows you to scan your PC for missing drivers at no cost. If your missing drivers are found, you can register and for a small fee install the drivers automatically and receive unlimited driver updates. This is not a bad option especially if you cannot locate the driver you need manually.
Rolling back a Driver - This is a very easy process and there is nothing unsafe about it. To roll back a device driver means to revert to the old version. Windows will use the previous version of your driver.
As you can see, there are many options available if you are experiencing driver issues and are uncertain how to resolve them. If reinstalling, updating, rolling back the driver or any other of the above tips does not solve your driver problem, try reinstalling the hardware. Although the drivers themselves are the main causes of driver problems, faulty hardware installation has its share of the blame as well.
